Passeggiando per Trieste - Walking around Trieste

E davvero molto bello passeggiare per una vecchia città di mare come Trieste, alla ricerca di scorci interessanti... L'atmosfera  dei palazzi antichi, assieme a quello del movimento della gente nelle strade è assai stimolante per un artista: questa è una città austera e vivace allo stesso tempo, splendidamente affacciata sul mare; per me è assai piacevole catturare dei piccoli bozzetti sul luogo con i medium più svariati: il carboncino è forse il più veloce: anche se non è colorato da la possibilità di grandi sfumature immediate ed è molto sensibile tra le dita....

Camminare lungo le Rive, fino alla passeggiata di Barcola, dove il mare diventa il vero protagonista di ogni cosa, e da una sensazione di serenità e forza allo stesso tempo: Lungo questa costa ho raccolto parecchi schizzi a tecnica mista, per opere più grandi da terminare in studio, oppure ho eseguito al cavalletto quadri completi, an plei air, quando il tempo lo permetteva...
E' un posto magico dove ti senti davvero parte della natura, dove fermarsi a guardare i favolosi tramonti e le mistiche albe incantate in atmosfere da favola...

It 'really nice to walk in an old seaside town of Trieste, in search of interesting views ... The atmosphere of the old buildings, together with the movement of people in the streets,  is very challenging for an artist: this is a lively city and at the same time austere, beautifully overlooking the sea: It' s very pleasant for me to capture  small sketches on location with many different mediums: charcoal is probably the fastest one: also if it'isnt a colored one, it's great for  its possibility of immediate and large gradients, and  is very sensitive.between your fingers...

Walking along the waterfront, walk up to Barcola, where the sea becomes the true protagonist of every things, with a sense of serenity and force at the same time;  along this coast.I've collected many mixed media sketches for larger works to finish in studio, or l've painted "an plei air"complete paintings when the weather permitted to do this ...
It 'a magical place where you really feel part of nature, where to stay and watch the fabulous sunsets and sunrises in a mystical enchanted fairytale atmosphere ...
