Roberto del Frate - Figurative Art - www.delfratearte.com: Trieste, Italy; Roberto del Frate's contemporary Impressionism www.delfratarte.com Fast and sensitive painter, with enthusiastic temperament, Del Frate was born in Jauary 31, 1960 in Venice by Venetian mother of noble Polish origin. The father, Enrico, (Palmanova 1929 - Venice 2006), is an established painter at local and national level, from which the child learns the craft of art since young. In his fascinating and evocative paintings, he shows the pleasure of painting en plein air, typical of Impressionism,that is transposed, with persuasive talent in contemporary reality: a context in which the artist can interpret and make human and almost romantic even the downtown streets congested with traffic, while a li ght mist of silence, light and small dreams, cloaked in the atmosphere and dampens the sound of the clacson.
